Selena Gomez has mastered the art of the little black dress, and her latest appearance at the 2025 Disney Upfront in New York City might be her most memorable yet, especially for her fiancé, Benny Blanco.
Wearing a custom Thom Browne design, the actress turned heads in a fitted, ankle-length black gown with bold structured shoulders, a classic boat neckline, and a subtle slit.
Paired with patent leather Jimmy Choo pumps, diamond cuff earrings, and her hair slicked into a sophisticated bun, the Old Hollywood had fans thrilled, but it was Benny, who had the sweetest reaction.
“You are perfect,” Benny wrote in a swooning Instagram Story, sharing a photo of Selena at the event. In a second post, he shared a screenshot from a FaceTime call between the two, proving that even from miles apart, she is always on his mind.
Selena is currently in New York City filming the fifth season of Only Murders in the Building alongside co-stars Steve Martin and Martin Short, while Benny is based in Los Angeles, and while the pair are usually together, the music producer keeps a busy schedule.
“Oh my God, I hate [flying]. Terrifying,” he admitted to ELLE recently. “I’m in Dallas right now. I’m driving to New York from Los Angeles.” The couple also shared a glimpse of their relationship during a conversation on 'On Purpose with Jay Shetty.'
“The biggest thing in the world is trust. I can say with all my heart that I trust this person," Selena explained. “But I know just hearing from him one time — check in with me and say, ‘I love you, and I hope the day is going well’ — I just feel safe. And I’ve never felt that before.”
She added, “If you feel like you’re in a situation that doesn’t feel like you’re a unit, that makes it scarier and then that causes friction, then it causes trust issues. So for me, I would have to say communication and trust helps, but it doesn’t always work. It’s hard.”
Selena and Benny's wedding plans:
The pair started their love story in 2023 and have been sharing many details about their relationship. Most recently, the couple is slowly sharing details of their upcoming wedding plans.
"Marty is due to give a speech," Selena said on The Drew Barrymore Show, when talking about the guests. "I told him he must … I feel like Marty would have an epic speech."
