Ángela Aguilar, the radiant star of regional Mexican music, recently made a bold style move by ditching her signature short hair for a voluminous, flowing mane thanks to extensions. And while the look has sparked plenty of praise, there's buzz that she may soon go back to her classic cropped style, mostly because of her husband, Christian Nodal.
Social media has been eating up a viral audio clip of an interview where Ángela was asked: "How does Christian like your hair—short or long?" Her answer gave fans a peek into a private convo she had with Nodal.

Still, she explained the long-haired look is tied to the visual identity of her new album, "Nadie Se Va Como Llegó," which drops May 22. "I told him, 'Love, I have to keep this look for the album. Just give me a month. I'll take them off after that,'" said the 21-year-old singer, daughter of the legendary Pepe Aguilar.

The session turned into a mini date, with the young couple showing off their sweet chemistry. "We refreshed @angela_aguilar_'s look with subtle highlights, perfect for summer, maintaining her essence while adding light and movement to her hair," De la Mora explained.
Marriage Vibes and New Music Energy
In another part of the leaked audio, Ángela opened up about how life's treating her as her first wedding anniversary approaches, and it sounds like she's thriving. "This phase of my life is amazing. I'm super happy, super content, and very inspired. I feel like this moment kicked off a new chapter in my music where I'm experimenting with new things," she said.
Oh, and about that whole "señorita" thing? She's over it. Despite being 21, Ángela says people still call her "Angelita" or "miss," especially those who've known her since she was little. But as a married woman, she'd rather be recognized accordingly.
