Katie Holmes reveals hair transformation for summer: See her boho-chic look

Katie Holmes seems to be ready for summer! The Hollywood star switched up her signature brunette hair for a lighter, beachy look. Katie decided to reveal the new hairstyle before heading out for a party in New York City, to celebrate the show 'Poker Face.'

The hair transformation marks a noticeable change from her usual dark brown locks. Katie has stuck to her natural brown hue for most of her career, with a brief blonde moment in the early 2000s. However, she quickly went back to her usual color while playing with the length multiple times.

It seems Katie is now embracing her boho era, sporting lighter and longer hair. The Broadway actress debuted her blonde highlights during the after-party for the season 2 premiere of 'Poker Face,' in which she has a role.

This role in the series will be her first on-screen role since 'Rare Objects' in 2023. Katie is seemingly going back into film and television after focusing on the Broadway revival of 'Our Town'.

In the photos, she can be seen rocking blonde highlights around her face, styled into messy, beachy waves by hair stylist DJ Quintero. "Thank you @nlyonne for having me for season 2!" she wrote on Instagram, alongside photos showing off her new look. "Thank you @briesarawelch for styling this look! Thank u @djquintero and @genevieveherr for getting me ready."

She paired her new look with a blue-and-white floral suit and a black top. She completed the ensemble with brown suede kitten-heeled mules and a matching fringed bag.

When it comes to her style, Katie is not afraid of having fun with her looks, incorporating new trends and trying vintage ensembles and different patterns and textures, both on and off the red carpet.
