Pedro Pascal has shown up in an unexpected place. The Chilean actor was recently spotted at a remote café, causing a "stir" with locals who documented the sighting on social media.
Pascal appears to be in Iceland and was photographed grabbing some lunch at a local café called Kaffi Vest. Images captured by onlookers showed Pascal wearing a bright green long-sleeved shirt that he paired with dark trousers and brown boots.
He was seated at a table with four other people, with all of them appearing to be in deep conversation.
The Iceland Monitor reported that Pascal's sighting took place on May 4th, and that it was unknown why he was in the remote location. The publication said that Pascal's appearance "has already caused a stir among locals." Photos shared online show Pascal posing with some fans and smiling for the cameras.
Why is Pascal in Iceland?
Pascal's appearance in Iceland has sparked some fan interest and theories, with many people online sharing their suggestions as to why Pascal was spotted in the snowy country.
"So that's where Avengers is filming," wrote a fan.
A second person supported their Avengers theory with some more evidence, sharing a photo of Anthony Mackie, one of the franchise's leads, who recently shared a story in a snowy location. "Pedro spotted in Iceland days ago and Anthony Mackie being somewhere snowy, coincidence? I think not."
While Iceland is a popular destination and Pascal could simply be on a much-needed vacation from his busy schedule, other Marvel actors have begun sharing news about their involvement with the next Avengers film, titled "Avengers: Doomsday."
Chris Hemsworth recently shared a video of himself boxing shirtless and training for the film. "A little Avengers pre-game warm up, coming in hot," he wrote.
"Avengers: Doomsday" has a release date of May 1st, 2026.
