Carpenter, 25, opted for a more glamorous vibe, stepping out in a seafoam green Versace gown that featured a daring thigh-high slit. She also wore her hair in her signature, voluminous style, showing off her bouncy bleach-blonde curls as she stepped onto the street for a pre-Met Gala event.
Set for May 5, the 2025 Met Gala centers on the theme "Superfine: Tailoring Black Style", with a dress code dubbed "Tailored for You."
The theme draws inspiration from the Costume Institute’s spring exhibition, which focuses on Black dandyism and its influence on fashion. This year’s co-hosts include actor Colman Domingo, F1 champion Lewis Hamilton, rapper A$AP Rocky, and Pharrell Williams—who also serves as the men's creative director at Louis Vuitton.
Around 600 guests are expected, with top athletes like Simone Biles and Sha’Carri Richardson reportedly among the invitees, though the guest list remains traditionally confidential. Basketball icon LeBron James will serve as honorary chair for the evening.
Also spotted in New York over the weekend was Anne Hathaway. The 42-year-old actress exuded elegance in a sharply tailored black pantsuit adorned with gold accents. She paired the look with a crisp white button-down shirt, black open-toe heels, and oversized black sunglasses that added a touch of glam.
Jenna Ortega was seen enjoying the city with friends. The 22-year-old Wednesday star wore an all-black outfit, including a baseball cap over her dark hair. She accessorized with the perfect statement, everyday bag, wearing Hammitt’s Tom Zip Large Bag in Black/Gunmetal.
