Eiza González is all smiles holding hands with Grigor Dimitrov after attending his tennis match in Madrid

Eiza González is giving love a second chance. The Mexican star confirmed rumors of a new romance, just months after saying she'd “given up on dating.” The actress told InStyle she was not "looking" for a new relationship "anymore" during an interview last year, but she is now taking a new chance with Bulgarian tennis player Grigor Dimitrov.

The 35-year-old Hollywood star was spotted holding hands with the 33-year-old athlete on Wednesday, April 30, in Madrid, Spain. The pair were photographed during a casual evening stroll, both wearing coordinated dark jackets.

Eiza paired her look with black pants and matching shoes, while Dimitrov opted for tan pants and white sneakers. Their cozy outing followed Eiza’s recent appearance at the Madrid Open, where she watched Dimitrov compete on April 26.

In a video shared on X (formerly Twitter), she can be seen greeting the athlete post-match with an affectionate, “Amazing, baby, amazing,” as he embraced her and several others, including actress Eva Longoria, who appeared to accompany Eiza at the event.

Dimitrov currently ranked No. 16 on the ATP Tour, was eliminated from the tournament on April 30 after a fourth-round loss to Canada’s Gabriel Diallo.

During her March 2024 interview, Eiza said she "would not date someone who isn’t in therapy,” adding that she’s “dying to have kids” one day.“And the older I get, it's harder for me because I don't play around. I go in and I give it all. I am not going to half-a-- anything," she declared.

Eiza was romantically linked to English model Guy Binns last summer. The pair were photographed together in multiple outings. The former couple looked very much in love at the time walking the streets of London and sharing some PDA. However, the actress, who is known for keeping her love life private, seems to have moved on ever since.
