Jenna Ortega is preparing to take the next step in her successful career in the film industry. The young Hollywood star, who is part of some of the most fan-favorite franchises and has multiple projects on the line, including her upcoming film 'Hurry Up Tomorrow' with The Weeknd, is ready to take a different direction in the entertainment business.
During an interview with V Magazine, the 'Wednesday' star revealed that she wants to make her debut as a director with a script she has been working on for almost 10 years. Jenna explained that she is ready to bring the project to life, but instead of starring in it, she wants to direct.

It’s weird because it’s something that I thought of when I was younger and when I first started out in this field, and it’s only now that I’m actually starting to take the steps to get it made, which is really interesting,” she shared with the publication.
© NBC“I’m just putting the puzzle pieces together in my head. So I think I needed a few years of that under my belt to understand the order of doing things," Jenna added.
© Karwai TangShe continued, “This one in particular, I see myself in it, but I really want to direct. That’s probably the main thing that I want to do. I see that for myself. I just feel that’s the way my brain wants to work and think, and that’s how I even view my acting sometimes.”
