Khloé Kardashian got caught in another Photoshop fail, and social media is eating it up with a meme sauce. The 40-year-old reality star, who's been battling claims of over-editing her images for years, is once again the center of an online storm, courtesy of her show.

The receipts came straight from The Kardashians on Hulu. In a now-viral moment from the latest season, cameras captured Khloé mid-photoshoot for her perfume line. But when the show flashed to the final, polished image? Viewers were stunned.

The before-and-after comparisons hit Reddit like wildfire. One user summarized it: "When watching the show, they were showing Khloé posing for her perfume photoshoot, and I thought she looked great! But then they showed the actual edited cover they selected, and I almost spat my water out. How can anyone approve that? It doesn't even look like her."

Internet Reacts: "This Ain't It, Khloé"

Let's say Reddit didn't hold back. Commenters dragged the final image for everything from uncanny valley vibes to what looked like rogue lighting on her neck. Others expressed sympathy, not just for Khloé, but for her kids. "At some point, her kids will be like, 'who do I look like?'" one user wrote. "She's going to have to say, 'I used to look like you.'"

Another commenter didn't even blink, writing: "Are we really out here in 2025 being surprised that a celebrity's photo is edited?"

A History of Filters and Facetune

To be clear, Khloé is not shy about her love of airbrushing. Back in 2018, she told People magazine, "Of course I believe in airbrushing apps. Who doesn't want to airbrush a thing here or there?"

She even revealed her favorite tool: "I love FaceTune… and a filter. That's like airbrushing. Who doesn't love a good filter?"

But the problem isn't the editing itself; it's the degree. Critics argue these extreme transformations push already out-of-reach beauty standards further into fantasy land.

The Filtered Reality of Reality Stars

Let's zoom out a second. Khloé isn't the only celeb getting flak for blurring the lines between digital and real-life beauty, but she is one of the most visible. And whether it's intentional or not, she's become a poster child for the Photoshop pendulum swinging too far.

Khloé hasn't commented on the latest incident (yet), but if history is any indicator, she might brush it off (no pun intended). Still, the backlash suggests that fans want more real, less retouched, especially from stars who claim to be all about authenticity.

At the end of the day, people aren't mad that celebrities use filters. They're angry when the filtered version becomes the only version, and young fans grow up thinking they're supposed to look like something that doesn't even exist.
