News broke today that Dancing With the Stars pro Gleb Savchenko and Sports Illustrated model Brooks Nader have broken up. But according to Savchenko, he found out about the split with the rest of the world.

People also confirmed the news with a source saying the 28-year-old suspects he cheated on her and she broke up with him over the weekend.
Here’s where things get messy—the dancer claims he found out from the press. “I was surprised to learn through article(s) published today … that Brooks has ended our relationship,” he told Page Six.
The 41-year-old offered more information, saying, "The last communication I received from her was a text on April 6, asking to speak." "I called her today in response, but she has not replied," he continued.
The former couple met while competing on Season 33 of DWTS, and their relationship has been hot, cold, and confusing from the jump. Romance rumors kicked off in September 2024 when flirty behind-the-scenes videos started popping up.
They insisted they were just dancing—but then came the kissing, the hand-holding in Beverly Hills, and that mysterious “secret” tattoo they got together in October.
© GettyAfter their elimination, Nader claimed in a TikTok live stream that he broke up with her through text, but they got back in touch and were spotted on a dinner date in mid-November.
Things seemed back on for the DWTS finale, and he even spent Thanksgiving with her family, per Page Six. She told People in February, “I did not intend — whenever I went on Dancing With the Stars at first — I didn't intend to be in February right now still seeing him, but here we are.”
They were spotted on what looks like a date as recent as March 31.
© GettyHe even said he wanted to have kids with her. Savchenko shares two daughters, Olivia and Zlata, with his ex-wife, Elena Samodanova. In January, he not-so-subtly hinted at wanting to add to the crew, tagging Nader on his Instagram Story with the line, “I think I’m ready for a 3rd one.”
The former flames had one big thing in common
While Nader doesn’t have any kids of her own, she and Savchenko do have one thing in common—messy divorces. He and Samodanova announced their split in November 2020 after 14 years of marriage.
