Rosie O’Donnell misses her family in the United States after moving to Ireland

Rosie O'Donnell has seemingly revealed that living in Ireland has been a bittersweet experience, as she recently shared that she misses her son, who is still living in the U.S. The comedian, who moved to Ireland for a fresh start, has embraced the country and new experiences but still admits the distance from her loved ones is real.

The media personality has documented some of the challenges her family has faced after the drastic decision to relocate to Ireland, but despite the struggles her family is persevering and continues to adjust to a new life chapter.

"It's been pretty wonderful, I have to say. The people [in Ireland] are so loving and so kind, so welcoming. And I'm very grateful," Rosie revealed on TikTok. "I was never someone who thought I would move to another country. That's what I decided would be the best for myself and my 12-year-old child. And here we are," she said.

This time, Rosie took to Instagram to share a photo of her son and his wife that he seemingly shared with her. "My son Blake and his beautiful wife Teresa," she shared, adding, "I miss you so much," and including a red heart emoji.

"I’m so, so proud and so impressed with their resilience," Rosie recently said about her child Clay, who relocated to Ireland with her. "It’s not easy to move to another country and we really felt as a family this was the safest and best thing for us to do," she added.

Rosie has a great relationship with her son, and is always sharing her support. She shared her excitement after Blake announced his engagement to her now-wife Teresa. "Last night - my son Blake asked his gf teresa to marry him - and she said yes !!! the crowd clapped - and hillary clinton was there too- I cried all through phantom of the opera - wishing my mom was here to see it all," she shared on Instagram in 2022.
