Almost a year after her separation from Ben Affleck, it seems like Jennifer Lopez is ready to open her heart to romance once again. The 55-year-old actress and music icon, who finalized her divorce from Affleck at the start of 2025, has had the support of her family and friends, focusing on her professional career with a new Netflix project on the line and moving forward with her life.

Now, JLo is reportedly ready to embrace new beginnings and possibly find love again. “Jennifer wants to be in love again,” a source told the Daily Mail, explaining that she has been taking time for herself, focusing on healing and spending time with her loved ones, but now she’s ready to find someone who makes her feel "special.”

The insider detailed what the singer seemingly wants in her new life chapter when it comes to her love life. "Someone who can have her back and make sure she is OK," the source said to the publication. "She wants to be put first and made to feel special," the insider shared.

The source also noted that Jennifer is booked and busy and has a tight schedule. "Her life is a lot," the insider added, "she needs a man who can handle all that and still love her unconditionally."

It was reported that the singer and actress is looking forward to new experiences this summer as she continues to film her new romantic comedy and prepares for the release of her upcoming movie 'Kiss of the Spider Woman.'

"She wants this summer to be amazing after a tough start to the year," the source said, referring to her divorce filing from Ben Affleck. Meanwhile, other reports indicate that the actor has been "reaching out" again to the singer, but she is ready to move on with her life.

"He’s even been reaching out to Jennifer [Lopez] again recently," a source said to Page Six. The insider also talked about the recent reconciliation rumors between Jennifer Garner and the actor, revealing that the two stars have no intention of getting back together with Ben. “I’d say they’re both relieved to be done with him. Ben’s an emotional roller coaster," the insider said.
