In a behind-the-scenes video montage posted on Instagram, Lauren gave her 872,000 followers a glimpse into her preparation for the flight, building excitement for the upcoming mission this spring.

The video shows various clips of the Blue Origin rocket, with Lauren posing in front of the spacecraft alongside her fiancé. The footage also includes a helicopter and shots of Lauren interacting with the team working behind the scenes to ensure the success of the mission.

"I have watched @BlueOrigin launches from the ground and filmed them from the sky. Still can't believe I'm actually going to have the opportunity to go up next and fly with the most amazing crew," the former journalist wrote.

"I want to be sitting on my deathbed knowing that I went for it," the quote reads. "I'm going to get sick and die at some point, and I would like in that moment to smile at the life I lived," Lauren shared. "That I had guts. That I had standards. That I loved people intensely. That I lived in a loud, brave way."
