A Gift for Herself

Jennifer Lopez bought a new place to start her life after her divorce from Ben Affleck. TMZ reported that the star purchased a $21 million estate in the exclusive Hidden Hills enclave.

Lopez now owns a sprawling 2.5-acre estate that boasts a 10,046-square-foot main house, a barn, stables, a riding arena, a guest house, and a pool. The property also features a private theater, a chef's kitchen, and a fully equipped gym, which fans know J.Lo will be using it frequently.

The lavish home, previously owned by Creedence Clearwater Revival founder John Fogerty after Sylvester Stallone, now belongs to Jennifer Lopez. She and Ben Affleck still haven't sold their former marital home, a $61 million Beverly Hills estate they bought in May 2023. 

Initially, they tried to sell it off-market before listing it for $68 million in July. Known as Crestview Manor, the 38,000-square-foot mansion features 12 bedrooms, 24 bathrooms, a guest penthouse, and extensive amenities like a gym, sports lounge, and courts. They accepted a $64 million offer from a New Jersey buyer, but that deal fell through in September, leaving the mansion unsold as of December 5.

The home purchase might indicate an unstable relationship, as a source informed PEOPLE that Lopez and Affleck did not entirely agree when they bought the house. The insider mentioned that the $68 million mansion "was Ben's idea and a significant compromise for her."
