Sasha Obama was photographed for the first time since the Los Angeles fires. The youngest daughter of Michelle and Barack Obama was spotted walking the streets of Los Angeles, using her phone and picking up some books.

She wore a green cardigan to keep herself warm and styled her look with various accessories, including bracelets, chunky rings, her glasses, and a necklace with a large round pendant.
She completed the look with some flip-flops, and a large brown purse, showing off her long and braided hair.
Sasha was spotted walking down the streets of Los Angeles and picking up a pile of books. Among the books, there was Richard Power's "Bewilderment," a novel following a man and his son as they cope with the grief of the loss of their wife and mother.
The instance marks Sasha's first public appearance since the wildfires that struck the city where she lives, which include five fires that affected various locations in Los Angeles County. While all fires are mostly contained as of this writing, the devastation has been immense, with the Palisades fires burning over 23,000 acres of land.
Many people, including celebrities, have lost their homes and have been living with friends and family over the past month.

Sasha Obama has been living in Los Angeles for the past few years after transferring from the University of Michigan to the University of Southern California. She graduated from the school in May 2023, acquiring an undergraduate degree in sociology. She's often photographed in the city, spending time with her sister, Malia Obama.
In previous instances, Michelle has discussed her daughters and their close bond, especially the fact that the two decided to live in the same state following their college graduations.

"So I just said, 'Okay, well that's interesting that you guys are going to try living together. We'll see how it goes,'" she said to PEOPLE. "But yeah, it feels good to know that the two girls you raised find solace at a kitchen table with one another. It's like the one thing you want for them."
