How to watch the 2025 Presidential Inauguration

Inauguration Day is fast approaching. On Monday, President-elect Donald Trump will be sworn in as the nation's 47th President, participating in one of the US's most revered traditions. The event will be attended by tech billionaires, heads of state, former Presidents, and other notorious figures, making for an important part of our historical record. 

The occasion consists of many celebrations held over the weekend, with the bulk of it televised on Monday, kicking off at noon at the US Capitol. Here's all you should know about this coming Inauguration Day:

Inauguration Day will be covered by most news channels in the country, making it easy for people who have cable to watch. Channels like CNN, NBC, MSNBC, ABC, Fox News, and more will have custom news coverage with their journalists and anchors ready to narrate and discuss everything that's going on on their screens. 

Inauguration Day will also be streamed on apps like ABC News Live, Live CNN, C-Span Now, Fox Nation, and more.

The Inauguration Day celebration is made up of several events, including the swearing-in ceremony, the Make America Great Again Victory Rally, and various balls. 

Who's performing?

There are several performances taking place over the weekend, including at the Make America Great Again Victory Rally at the Capital One arena, including Kid Rock, the Village People, Billy Ray Cyrus, and Lee Greenwood. 

On Inauguration Day, Carrie Underwood will be singing "America the Beautiful." "I love our country and am honored to have been asked to sing at the Inauguration and to be a small part of this historic event," said Underwood in a statement to NPR. Christopher Macchio will perform the National Anthem and Lee Greenwood will perform "God Bless the USA."
