Selena Gomez is showing up for her community in Los Angeles. The acclaimed actress is sharing her support for the families displaced by the devastating wildfires and for the first responders who continue to work tirelessly to minimize the damage caused by the situation, which resulted in over $14.8 Billion in damages, multiple homes destroyed, and 40,000 acres burned.

The Hollywood star documented her time in the field with her fiancé Benny Blanco. The pair volunteered to help distribute emergency supplies, including food to the evacuees. “Grateful for these individuals," Selena wrote on Instagram Stories, sharing a clip with first responders.

The singer and the music producer can be seen wearing face masks to protect themselves from the air quality still affected by the fires. The pair wore casual outfits and were focused on helping distribute food.

Earlier this week, the 'Emilia Perez' star shared how her company Rare Beauty is assisting the community in these difficult times. "We have spent the last few days focused on ensuring the safety of our Los Angeles team and friends who have been impacted, and we are working with local organizations on additional product donations and volunteering efforts."

“To all the firefighters, first responders, volunteers, and organizations on the ground meeting the ongoing needs of our community, we are forever grateful for your bravery, selflessness, and commitment," the brand stated on social media.

“Together, we assembled emergency care kits with essentials for evacuation centers and have made donations to the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation and World Central Kitchen, who are on the ground providing immediate aid," Rare Beauty added.

"We continue to support the Rare Impact Fund’s non-profit partners, providing mental health support to young people—ensuring that now, more than ever, they have the resources they need. We know this will be a long journey of healing and grieving for the place we call home, so we encourage you to keep the momentum in supporting our community to rebuild.”
