Vanessa and Cole evacuated with their newborn baby and their toy poodle Darla, leaving behind their home as they were concerned for their safety. The wildfires have destroyed over 1,000 structures and claimed at least five lives.

Before leaving Los Angeles, Vanessa took to social media to share a concerned message. She shared her love and appreciation for first responders working to minimize the damages and control the fires.

"LA be safe. Keep an eye out for evacuation zones. This is so scary. My heart breaks for everyone affected," she shared with her fans and followers on Instagram. She also posted a photo of the smoke-filled sky that has impacted the air quality of the city tremendously.

"Thank you to all the firefighters out there risking their lives," Vanessa wrote. There are multiple fires taking over Los Angeles, including the Palisades fires that have affected 15,800 acres of land, burning homes and structures along the Pacific Coast Highway.

Apart from the Palisades and the Eaton fire, which has torched 10,600 acres of land and taken the lives of at least people, two other significant fires were contained, including the Sunset fire in the Hollywood hills, and the Hurst fire, causing evacuation orders that have impacted nearly 180,000 residents.
