On December 24, while many celebrated Christmas Eve, Ricky Martin celebrated his 53rd birthday. But he wasn’t the only one being celebrated in the family—the day also marked the birthday of his daughter, Lucía, the princess of the house. Jwan Yosef, Ricky’s ex-partner, and Lucía’s father, made sure to mark the occasion with a heartfelt tribute to his little girl, sharing a series of adorable photos.
© @RickymartinTo celebrate, Jwan shared a gallery on Instagram dedicated to his little one with a sweet caption. “My very own Santa Lucía, HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my most wonderful daughter. I couldn’t be prouder. Today is your sixth birthday,” wrote the Syrian-born artist. Accompanying his sweet words, Yosef posted a collection of tender snapshots of the birthday girl, starting with a portrait of him posing with Lucía and her younger brother, Renn.

In the photo, Jwan holds five-year-old Renn, while Lucía stands next to them, wearing a charming coral tutu, a white long-sleeved shirt, leggings, pastel pink sneakers, and a delicate crown atop her blonde hair worn loose.
Lucía also posed solo among tree branches looking sweetly into the camera. Her radiant green eyes and captivating smile had fans in the comments she looked like a doll.
Jwan’s photo carousel also included a shot of Lucía joyfully playing and another of her helping her dad decorate the Christmas tree.
Lucía is one of two children the former couple shares, and the post garnered plenty of attention, including a like from her older brother, 15-year-old Valentino, one of Ricky’s twins.
Thousands of followers joined in, showering Lucía with well-wishes and agreeing on how adorable she is.

One fan also said she was "just like Ricky" which is something her dad has talked about in the past. The singer said in an April interview with Zoe Saldaña for Interview Magazine that Lucía, even at her young age, is already showing signs of following in his footsteps. When asked by her pediatrician what she wants to be when she grows up, Lucía confidently answered, “I want to be a singer.”
Ricky shared that both he and Jwan have always believed their daughter is a natural-born star. “My heart wanted to leap out of my chest because I’ve always said she’s a star, and my ex-husband thinks the same,” the singer said.
Despite their separation in 2023, Ricky and Jwan maintain a positive relationship, emphasizing their commitment to ensuring the happiness and well-being of their children.
