Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck celebrate Christmas and exchange gifts in Los Angeles

It seems Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are keeping things amicable as they move forward with their divorce. The former celebrity couple, who are still reportedly "in each other's lives" despite having separated following marriage struggles, were seen in Los Angeles celebrating the holidays with their kids.

Before their split, the pair had successfully created a blended family, with their respective kids still being very close friends after the divorce news. Jennifer is a proud mom to Emme and Max from her previous relationship with Marc Anthony, while Ben has three kids with his former wife Jennifer Garner, Violet, Fin, and Samuel.

Ben and Jennifer were seen over the weekend celebrating Christmas with their families at Soho House in West Hollywood. The Daily Mail reported that they had lunch and enjoyed a moment together with their kids. "When all the kids get together for the holidays," Jennifer previously wrote, tagging her sister Lynda Lopez, who is also known to have a great friendship with Ben's daughter, Violet Affleck.

A source recently shared details about Ben and JLo's dynamic. “They have every intention of continuing to be in each other’s lives despite not being romantically involved,” an insider told Page Six about their new relationship following their divorce and new single lives.

“Ben and Jennifer are still connected and they do communicate when it involves their kids," the source detailed to the publication. It was also reported that despite their separation and ongoing legal arrangements, the two stars “have a mutual respect for one another,” which is “not something that goes away” overnight. “Obviously things haven’t been the same, but they have a lot of history,” the insider explained.

“Ben and Jennifer remain amicable whenever they do see each other," the source added. "They’re still close with each other’s children, and even though they don’t have a co-parenting type of relationship, they still feel like a blended family in a lot of ways.”
