Gigi Hadid has revealed she's been forced to make updates to the outdoor space of her luxurious New York City apartment due to an unexpected problem: a rat infestation. In a new interview with "Architectural Digest," the 29-year-old supermodel opened up about her Manhattan property, which she purchased in 2018.
While discussing her home, Gigi was asked, "What is one thing you wish you could change about your house?" Her candid response shed light on a very New York-specific dilemma. "My outdoor space in New York is getting a little update because we had a rat problem in New York, and some of the original designs of the space didn't help that problem," Gigi explained.

Gigi purchased the $5.82 million townhouse in the trendy NoHo neighborhood six years ago. The building was designed by renowned architect Annabelle Selldorf, combining modern elegance with a historical touch.
Thankfully, the rodent issue is limited to the exterior, as Gigi confirmed that the interior of her apartment remains safe and rat-free. Plus, she splits her time between her New York home and her property in Pennsylvania, which likely provides some reprieve. The model also gave fans insight into her signature design style, describing her homes as "eclectic, industrial farmhouse" and noting her preference for kitchens that feel like living spaces.

And when I found out that my partner at the time was pregnant, I pretty quickly made up my mind that this would be a great place to raise a child because there's so much for her to do here,” he said. “So, we do spend a lot of time outside. We do the gardening. She likes to camp with me. We cook outside. We fish a little bit. And she’s really into it, too, so it makes it fun.”
Malik also shared that Khai understands that he’s a performer. “She doesn’t come to the studio, but she’s starting to understand that Baba sings and Baba does music. She asks everybody, whenever there’s a song on the radio, ‘Is my Baba singing?’ But in front of me, she kind of gets shy about it,” he said.
