This time Hulu is giving green light to produce the 10-episode series, created by Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger, who worked in the show This Is Us.

Sophie will be joined by her closest friends, as they encounter different adventures that involve romance, heartbreaks and friendship in New York City.

The creators have already expressed their excitement to bring How I Met Your Father to Hulu, adding that they are honored to be “carrying the torch forward for the next generation, and with Hilary Duff no less.”

Aptaker and Berger also stated that they can’t wait for the public to meet Sophie and her crew, “and watch them come into their own and find love.”
