We cannot lie — when we saw the trailer to Lin-Manuel Miranda ’s new film In The Heights, we got some serious chills. The singing, the dancing and the set design all captivated us, leaving us anxious in our seats, itching to see the film.
In The Heights is set to portray Latinxers everywhere in a way we rarely get to see on film (or in Hollywood, in general). For those who haven’t had the chance to see the Broadway version, the film will follow the story of a bodega owner who is facing a crossroads in terms of their future and everything that transpires along the way to making that fateful decision.
The amazing team that helped bring this film to life (Lin-Manuel included) gathered some big time heavy hitters to make this film truly special. Get to know them a bit better below.
