Brad Pitt is celebrating a big birthday this week and he’s got plans to spend time with his family. The actor will be ringing in his 56th birthday with his three biological children— Shiloh , 13, as well as his 11-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne—on Wednesday, December 18, according to a report from ET Online.

Shiloh, Knox and Vivienne will also be spending Christmas Eve with their famous father. Although the report reveals that Brad’s three adopted children—Maddox, 18, Pax, 16, and Zahara, 14—will not be present for the festivities, it does not disclose the reason why they will be absent, but that they are always welcome in Brad’s home.
Another source described what it’s like in Brad’s home during both ocassions. “It's the same arrangement they have had recently. The kids will come over to Brad's house and spend the day with him,” a source told E! News. “They have some traditions where they eat and exchange gifts. They play music and just hang out.”
