Jennifer Lopez has shared the official release date for her highly-anticipated project. During a late night of shooting in New York City on Monday, April 15, the Medicine singer revealed some exciting news about her film Hustlers. As the 49-year-old actress walked around the empty Bergdorf Goodman department store, in between takes, she decided to spill the beans to her fans. “By the way, I have a secret,” J.Lo told the camera as she crept around the store at 3 am. “The release date for Hustlers has just been set for Sep 13th. We’re coming to a theatre near you. Look out for all of us.”

In case her fans forgot, the Dinero singer shared the news in the corresponding caption. “Thass right SEPTEMBER 13. @hustlersmovie coming to a theater near you. #BergdorfDelirium.” The World of Dance judge has been busy on location of the film. Filming for the movie began in March. Since, Jennifer has been seen on location with co-star Constance Wu – shooting a variety of scenes, including one with a lot of tears.
The film, which is based on a group of strippers who turn the tables on their wealthy clients – also stars Cardi B, Keke Palmer, Julia Stiles and Mercedes Ruehl. The female-driven film is directed by Lorene Scafaria. Jennifer has been keeping fans in the loop with the progress of the film. Last week, the triple threat shared a behind-the-scenes photo from the set. “Ramona’s not playin’ today. #setlife @stxentertainment @hustlersmovies.”
In the picture, the actress sits in a Hustlers chair while going over the script. Running lines isn’t the only way the mother-of-two prepped for her role. Jennifer, who went on a 10-day no carbs, no sugar challenge, gave fans look at one of her costumes for the shoot. “I’m hustler baby…I just want you to know…#Ramona on fire,” she captioned the picture showing off her abs in a pink bikini. “On set and in character for #hustlersmovie #stxentertainment.”
