Who ya gonna call? Ghostbusters! It’sbeen more than three decades since the original film made its debut. Now theghost busting crew is back in a female-led reboot.
The official trailer for thehighly-anticipated movie was released on Thursday showing the newest ghost buttkickers: Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Leslie Jones and Kate McKinnon."Someone is creating a device that amplifies paranormal activity and wemight be the only ones who can stop it,” says Kristen’s character Erin Gilbert. Also helping save the day is the gang’s secretary played by the hunky Chris Hemsworth.
Here is what we learned from watchingthe film’s first trailer.
1) The Ghostbuster gear looks muchmore stylish on the female cast than it did on the original crew:

makes one hotsecretary and proves he can pull off any look, even nerdy glasses. The

3) The Slimer has returned. The greenghost, which dispels slime, made its first appearance in the gender-swapped remake.
4) Ecto-1 is a hearse. Like Bill, Danand the original crew, the female Ghostbusters need a ride around town to helpthem sweep up the ghosts, however unlike the 1959 Cadillac ambulance/hearse used in the originalmovie, the ladies have an actual hearse, though Leslie’s character shouts, “It’sa Cadillac.”
5) The music is still totallytimeless. Sure the original movie premiered in the '80s, but the classic theme song is still as fresh now as it was back then.
Ghostbusters flies into theaters July15.
