Jessica Simpson is entering a new era, and it starts with her hair. The 45-year-old singer ditched her signature blonde locks for a rich brunette shade in a striking Instagram post shared on February 9th, 2026.
Jessica shared a hot black-and-white snap of herself perched on a bed with her sexy long legs arched in front of her as she modeled a small black dress, as well as high heels that featured love hearts on them. The I Wanna Love You Forever hitmaker captioned the youthful-looking upload with, "Some people wear their heart on their sleeve, I wear my heart on my feet."

You look fantastic!" And a second supporter declared that Jessica is "aging backwards" and encouraged her to "keep the brunette" look.
Jessica is hoping that her new look will flutter the eyelashes of some hot guys following her split from former San Francisco 49ers tight end Eric Johnson, 46, in January 2025 after 10 years of marriage. During a July 2025 appearance on NBC's The Today Show, the chart-topping singer told anchor Jenna Bush Hager that she was ready to dip her toes back into the dating pool again.

Jenna, 44, asked Jessica, "Are you interested in dating? Can I set you up with anybody?" The That '70s Show alum replied, "I'd totally jump on that. Yes, I'm single, very into like, very … I'm ready!" Jenna then wondered, "What are you into so I can set my criteria?"
Jessica then explained that her type of person is one-of-a-kind, and that she does not have a look or anything. "I just like for somebody to be individually, who they are. And exude confidence without the ego. It's hard to find, but I feel like it's out there. I don't need somebody to be supportive of me all the time. I feel like the independence that I have right now, if I can have that and give it to someone else, that'd be cool."
The With You singer, who has Maxi, 13, Ace, 12, and Birdie, six, with Eric, did not think she would be "single again as a mom of three".
