Millions of people have been trying to find the exact red lipstick Taylor Swift uses, and now we may finally have a strong lead. Her crisp, blue-red lip has become one of her most recognisable beauty trademarks.
The buzz has caused a serious hunt for the 36-year-old pop megastar's product, a blue-red lipstick paired with liquid liner. Die-hard fans, makeup artists, and beauty editors have all tried to pinpoint it. But thanks to Jill Dunn, co-host of the Breaking Beauty podcast, we now have a clearer idea of one of Taylor's go-to brands for her classic red look.
"It was a look that carried through the stellar Eras Tour from March 2023 until December 2024." It stayed in place through downpours, balmy temperatures, and demanding choreography.
The big red lipstick reveal
After looking closely at footage of the Shake It Off singer lining her lips in The End of an Era, the six-part Disney+ docuseries that followed Taylor and her crew during the highest-grossing tour of all time, Jill disclosed the lip duo everyone is eager to know about.
"I don't think this lip liner was on anyone's bingo card for the one that Taylor wears on stage but it's from Smashbox. It appears to be the Be Legendary line in prime pencil."

The Love Story singer's makeup artist, Lori Turk appear to use MAC Cosmetics' Locked Kiss Lipstick (priced at $34). According to Jill, "at least this is like a finishing touch. You know how makeup artists layer so many different reds but this is from MAC."
The makeup brand, confirmed the shade was Ruby True.
Another makeup tip from the star
Taylor completed her base makeup with Charlotte Tilbury's Airbrush Flawless Finish Setting Powder, priced at $49. "It helps blur pores, reduce shine, and keep makeup in place." That kind of staying power makes sense for her marathon Eras Tour performances. The 14-time Grammy award winner performed for more than three hours a night across 149 shows around the globe.
