Rain and cold temperatures did little to diminish the excitement outside the Grand Palais, where guests gathered for Chanel’s awaited Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2026 show. The presentation marked a major moment for the house: it was the first couture collection overseen by Matthieu Blazy, who took on the role of creative director last year and unveiled his vision at 10 a.m. sharp. Among the guests was Charlotte Casiraghi, who has served as a Chanel ambassador since 2021 and is deeply involved in the brand’s literary and cultural initiatives, areas that are closely tied to her own work.
The daughter of Caroline of Monaco and Stefano Casiraghi is on the verge of a personal milestone. On January 29th, she's releasing her first solo novel, "La fêlure." Ahead of that debut, Charlotte made a point of attending Blazy’s highly anticipated show, arriving alongside the mother of her former husband, Carole Bouquet, who's also an actress.
Despite Charlotte's separation from film producer Dimitri Rastram, she's managed to maintain a friendly and positive relationship with Carole.
For the fashion show, Carole opted for a sleek, all-black ensemble. Charlotte opted for one of the colors of the year: Cloud Dancer. Named by the Pantone Color Institute, the soft, ethereal off-white is expected to be one of 2026’s defining shades, with Charlotte showcasing it to striking effect in Paris.
Her look was an exclusive Chanel design first seen on the runway in October, during Blazy’s debut for the house. Specifically, it was Look No. 31 from the Spring/Summer 2026 collection: a long-sleeved, round-neck dress cut close to the body, defined by strong vertical seams. The silhouette opens into a skirt with a slit and a deliberately frayed hem, embellished with fringes and floral details, adding movement and texture.
Radiant as she posed for photographers, the granddaughter of Grace Kelly completed the ensemble with Blazy’s modern reinterpretation of Chanel’s iconic two-tone shoes, a timeless design the French house first popularized in the late 1950s.

Chanel's fashion show was one of the most anticipated events of the year and, as such, had one of the most exclusive guest lists.
Among this year's guests were stars like Dua Lipa, Penelope Cruz, Vanessa Paradis, Nicole Kidman, Bruna Marquezine, Margaret Qualley, and Gracie Abrams, all boasting some of Chanel's leading designs of the year.
