Jalila Bint Ali was born on September 16th, 2005. She's the daughter of Prince Ali Bin al Hussein, the brother of King Abdullah, and the renowned journalist Rym Al-Ali.

Jalila and her little brother Abdulla bin Ali are a princess and prince of the realm, even if they're not the direct descendants of the acting king. The pair have had few appearances as members of the royal family, until now, when Jalila has begun attending various public events.

Jalila Bint Ali graduated from school in June 2023 alongside her cousin Prince Hashem. She celebrated the special occasion alongside her father, her uncle, and more important members of her family. While it's unknown what Jalila will be studying in university, she's demonstrated a marked interest in different activities and causes from a young age.

Jalila rides horses, like her cousins. In fact, she was the youngest horse rider to enter the international race Gallops of Jordan in 2021, playing a key role in her nation's team. Her participation landed them in sixth place among 25 teams.

She's also a fan of women's soccer, attending various events. "Alongside my daughter Jalilia in the final sorting of the feminine Asian Cup of the AFC. She's our lucky charm. Congratulations, Jordan, and best of luck to all of the participating teams," wrote Prince Ali in a statement.

Her recent appearances

Over the past few years, Jalila has begun attending different public events, especially in activities related to the entertainment sphere, with her father serving as President of the Royal Film Commission Council of Jordan, which hopes to promote cinema in the country.

Jalila has attended various movie premieres, wearing striking outfits that call to mind Queen Rania and her cousins.

On August 18th, Jalilia accompanied her mother to an event celebrating a treaty signed between the Jordan Media Institute and UNICEF. Two days before, Jalila attended the Festival of Children's Cinema of Jordan, where she took photos alongside other teens and young people who share her passion for cinema.
