The bride to be is the daughter of Alexandra von Fürstenberg and designer Diane von Fürstenberg's son Prince Alexander von Fürstenberg. Talita has spoken in the past about not using her Princess title. "I definitely would not consider myself a royal. It’s by blood, but it’s so far off, I don’t like to use my title," she told Vogue in 2019. Similarly, Talita admitted to HELLO! Fashion in 2020, "It doesn’t make sense for me because I didn’t grow up in Europe, it is still my title, but I think that Americans don’t understand about being a princess in the same way that you guys do. In LA, where I grew up, if I said I was a princess people would freak out. I didn’t think I could claim that title for myself."
