Queen Rania, Princess Rajwa and Crown Prince Hussein of Jordan aren't the only royals in Venice for Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez's wedding. Her Majesty's 28-year-old daughter Princess Iman and her husband Jameel Thermiotis were seen arriving at the Amazon founder and journalist's wedding welcome party on Thursday, June 26, with the Queen, Crown Prince and Princess Rajwa.
Hussein was filmed helping his mother and wife off their water taxi, and was then followed by his sister and brother-in-law. According to PEOPLE, the party on June 26 was held in a closed cloister adjacent to the Madonna dell'Orto church in Venice. Ivanka Trump, Jared Kushner, Kim Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian, Kris Jenner, Kylie Jenner, Kendall Jenner, Orlando Bloom, Tom Brady and Oprah Winfrey were also among the guests.
The fashionable Queen of Jordan was dressed in a Fendi couture gown, which she teamed with a pink stole, for the occasion. Her daughter-in-law Rajwa opted for a gold turtleneck dress from Tom Ford (via Royal Fashion Daily), while Princess Iman appeared to be wearing a flowy dress with a blue wrap.
Rania was spotted arriving in Venice earlier that day, as were Hussein and Rajwa with their 10-month-old daughter, Princess Iman bint Al Hussein bin Abdullah II. The royal baby is Queen Rania and King Abdullah II's first grandchild.
It's unclear if Rania's daughter Iman and son-in-law Jameel also traveled to Italy with their baby girl. The couple, who wed in March 2023, welcomed their first child, daughter Amina, earlier this year. The baby was born on Feb. 16 at the Prince Hashem bin Abdullah II Hospital in Aqaba. Proud grandmother Rania celebrated the arrival of her second grandchild, writing on Instagram: "My darling Iman is now a mother. We’re grateful and overjoyed to meet Amina, our family’s newest blessing. Congratulations Jameel and Iman – may God bless you and your precious little girl."
Less than a month before Amina's birth, Rania revealed that her older daughter Iman was pregnant. "Two is a couple, three is a blessing ❤️," the Queen captioned a scenic shot of Iman, showing off her baby bump, and Jameel facing each other. Rania also wrote (translated to English), "Both are dear to my heart, but the coming one is more precious 😉 ..... May God end well."
