We're feeling grateful for Ariana Grande's new 'Thank U, Next' perfume

You may recall, back in April we reported Ariana Grande was in the works for a Thank U, Next beauty products line, and now we’re excited to reveal further details about her new fragrance titled under the same name as the hit single whose video takes us back to the early 2000s. Earlier this month, the pop-star posted a sneak peek of her new perfume via social media revealing the bottle’s pink, unique design and that it will launch at Ulta Beauty on August 18.

Now, the Love Me Harder singer has spoken more about her latest beauty product, and things are about to get sweet. In the official press release, the Breathin artist explained the bottle’s broken-heart shape and how the new fragrance differs from her previous. "I wanted to make a fragrance that smells related to my first fragrance, Ari, but more summery, so I revisited Ari’s fruity pear and raspberry notes and changed it up by adding some coconut," she said.

Talking about her inspiration behind the bottle’s unique design, the 26-year-old explained, "I was inspired to design a bottle that represented the message of my song 'Thank U, Next' — the emergence of the perfume from the broken heart represents moving forward from a challenging chapter."

The new scent includes top notes of white pear and raspberry (sweet!)

As for the most important factor – the scent – the sweet fragrance includes top notes of white pear and raspberry, heart notes of pink rose petals and créme de coconut and a hint of macaroon sugar and velvet musk. "The combination of sexiness and sweetness, while cleverly conveying the details of Ariana’s latest fragrance in a fresh, modern way is both authentic to Ari and unique to the category,” said the chief marketing officer of Luxe Brands, the brand the Grande company teamed up with, Noreen Dodge.

If you’re in the market for a new fragrance, the 100-millimeter bottle will set you back $62, while the smaller size will be available for $52. Ariana’s new fragrance will be available on Ulta.com on August 18 and in-stores September 1.
