There’s a lot of stuff to stream nowadays. In hopes of helping you watch more good movies and TV, we compile some of the most exciting titles streaming across all platforms in our weekly column, What To Watch.

The Diplomat (Netflix)

Keri Russell is back with a new season of "The Diplomat," Netlfix's political thriller trailing Kate Wyler, a US ambassador who's unexpectedly appointed to the UK, kicking off a string of chaos that continues with each passion season. Season three follows Wyler's clash with the US's vice president (Allison Janney), with the two facing off throughout the season.

Mr. Scorsese (Apple TV+)

Directed by Rebecca Miller, "Mr. Scorsese," follows the legendary director's life and career, with Miller having unprecedented access to his personal archives.

Devil in Disguise: John Wayne Gacy (Peacock)

There's a string of exciting titles to watch as we prepare for Halloween. One of these is "Devil in Disguise: John Wayne Gacy," a new crime series exploring the terrifying crimes of John Wayne Gacy, played by Michael Chernus. The series co-stars Michael Angarano, Gabriel Luna, and Marin Ireland.

The Cabin in the Woods (Peacock)

Other Halloween picks include "The Cabin in the Woods," a perfect movie to watch if hardcore horror is not your thing. Starring an ensemble cast that includes Chris Hemsworth, Jesse WIlliams and more, the movie follows a group of college students who retreat to a cabin for a weekend away. Once there, the studentss fall victim to a group of monsters, resulting in plenty of scares and comedic twists.

Black Swan (Hulu)

Lastly, "Black Swan" is available on Hulu. This year the film celebrated its 15th anniversary, making it the perfect opportunity to jump in if you've never seen it. The film follows Nina (Natalie Portman), a perfectionist ballerina who loses her grip on reality once a new and talented dancer (Mila Kunis) is introduced to her dance company.

Inglorious Basterds (Netflix)

One of Quentin Tarantino's best and most original films is streaming on Netflix. "Inglorious Basterds," responsible for launching the careers of actors like Michael Fassbender, Christoph Waltz and Melanie Laurent, trails a group of soldiers carrying out a secret mission againt Nazi Germany's leadership.

Past Lives (Netflix)

For our last recommendation this week, "Past Lives" is streaming on Netflix. The film came out in 2023, becoming one of the year's biggest critical hits following two childhood friends over a period of 24 years, as they grow together and apart after one of them moves to a different country.
