The wait is over! The nominees for the 26th Annual Latin Grammy Awards have officially arrived. Announced on Wednesday, September 17, the Latin Recording Academy revealed a dazzling lineup of artists who reflect the breadth, energy, and unstoppable influence of Latin music today.

This year’s nominations are stacked with both global heavyweights and rising stars, creating one of the most exciting lineups in recent memory.

Album of the Year: Legends and Game-Changers

The Album of the Year category is bursting with household names and innovators. Rauw Alejandro, Bad Bunny, Gloria Estefan, Alejandro Sanz, and Natalia Lafourcade are all competing for the crown alongside fresh voices like Liniker, Elena Rose, and Joaquina. Add in genre-bending projects from CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso, Carín León, and Vicente García, and you’ve got one of the most diverse fields yet.

Record of the Year: Double Nods for Bad Bunny and CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso

Bad Bunny continues his Grammy dominance, snagging two nominations in the Record of the Year category. The Puerto Rican superstar is joined by Argentina’s CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso, who also landed two nods, showing the growing power of their experimental, genre-fluid sound.

Other contenders include Jorge Drexler & Conociendo Rusia, Karol G, Zoe Gotusso, Alejandro Sanz, Liniker, and Natalia Lafourcade. Each brings a distinct sound, from pop to indie folk to powerhouse ballads, making this one of the tightest races of the night.

Best New Artist: The Next Wave

The Best New Artist category is always a fan favorite, and this year it’s brimming with fresh talent. Nominees include Alleh, Annasofia, Yerai Cortés, Juliane Gamboa, Camila Guevara, Isadora, Alex Luna, Paloma Morphy, Sued Nunes, and Ruzzi. These artists are shaping the future of Latin music, blending traditional sounds with modern experimentation. If you’re looking for your next playlist obsession, this category is the one to watch.

New Categories for 2025

For the first time, the Latin Grammys are expanding into Visual Media, adding two brand-new categories: Best Music for Visual Media and Best Roots Song. This evolution mirrors how audiences are consuming music today, not just through albums, but through film, TV, and digital storytelling.

Honorees: Icons Take the Stage

The night won’t just be about the nominees. Spanish singer and actor Raphael will be celebrated as the 2025 Latin Recording Academy Person of the Year. Meanwhile, Susana Baca, Enrique Bunbury, Ivan Lins, Pandora, and Olga Tañón will receive Lifetime Achievement Awards, honoring their lasting impact. Legendary engineer Eric Schilling will also be recognized with the Trustees Award.

The 26th Annual Latin Grammys will take place on November 13 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. Fans in the U.S. can catch the broadcast on TelevisaUnivision’s platforms starting at 8 p.m. ET.
