Sinners has shared a new and terrifying clip. Starring Michael B. Jordan, the film represents the awaited reunion between himself and his "Black Panther" director Ryan Coogler. The two have worked numerous times together on successful projects like "Creed" and "Fruitvale Station," with this story marking their first foray into the horror genre.

'Sinners' is scheduled to premiere in theaters this April 18

Starring a cast that includes stars like Hailee Steinfeld, Delroy Lindo, Jack O'Connell, Wunmi Mosaku, and more, "Sinners" is a period film set in 1932 Mississippi, following twin brothers returning home as they run away from their past. Upon their arrival, the brothers discover that things are not as they used to be and that they may be taking on a greater challenge than the one they were escaping from.

The new TV spot teases blood and mayhem, and some vampires, for those who have a keen eye and know how these types of stories work. "We heard tale of a party," says Jack O'Connell in the clip. "You wouldn't mind us coming in, would you?"

More details about 'Sinners'

Over the past few months, Coogler and his collaborators have shared some details about "Sinners," including the fact that the story takes place over a single day. Jordan plays the character of Smoke and Stack, his first time playing twin brothers. It's a feat that he described as a challenge in an interview with Entertainment Weekly.

"It was part of the reason why I wanted to take the role," said Jordan. "Ryan really built two characters that were very much so different but kind of the same."

Jordan revealed that an easy way to tell them apart is to check for their smiles. "Smoke doesn't smile often," he said. "If you're smiling, more than likely it's Stack, nine times out of 10."
