Rachel Zegler's portrayal of the fan-favorite character 'Snow White' in Disney's upcoming live-action remake has garnered significant acclaim from critics and early viewers despite earlier controversies surrounding casting and production choices.

Rachel's performance is positioned as a standout in the long-awaited movie ahead of its official release in theaters on March 21, 2025. The proud Latina actress shared a glimpse at her experience on set, reminiscing on the preparation for the role and sharing her appreciation for everyone watching the film.

The star took the stage during a fan screening over the weekend and gave an emotional speech, revealing that the role marks an important milestone in her career. "Hey guys, thank you so much for being here," she told the audience.

"This is a movie that is so close to my heart. I was 19 years old when I auditioned and I am about to turn 24," Rachel explained, adding that it's "a really big chunk of my life and seven years of my career."

"I love everybody in this movie," she continued. "Coming to the end of this road of the release feels really crazy because when you spend so much time with something, it becomes such a big part of you and a big part of your heart," the actress declared.

"I love her and I’m so glad to see that so many of you love her as well," she said about playing Snow White. "Her superpower is her heart," she said. "It’s nothing supernatural. It’s something that all of us have and deep within us there is an inherent, good and belief in the kindness of humanity."

"I hope that you walk away from this film understanding what the true meaning is, I really, really hope that for the world as well," Rachel said while shedding some tears. "Thank you so so much for allowing me to be your Snow White. It means the world to me."
