Milla Jovovich attended the premiere of "Dracula" with a special date: her daughter. Jovovich was joined by Ever Anderson, the 18-year-old daughter she shares with her husband, the filmmaker Paul W.S. Anderson.
The pair attended the Los Angeles premiere of "Dracula," hosted at the storied TCL Chinese Theater. The pair opted for comfort for the occasion, wearing informal clothing. In the case of Jovovich, 50, she opted for a cool and youthful outfit made up of a cream colored shirt, a jean jacket, and a black skirt. She completed the look with matching black tights and silver heels, accessorizing it all with long jewelry.
Her daughter wore a black and white dress that she paired with some brown boots. The two walked alongside each other on the red carpet, smiling for the cameras and hugging each other as they prepared to watch the film together.
"Dracula" is a new French film, directed by Luc Besson, who was previously married to Jovovich and has maintained a friendship with her despite the end of their relationship.
Jovovich's relationship with her daughter
Jovovich has three kids with her husband: Ever, Dashiel, 10, and Osian, 6.
She and Anderson met when they were making the first "Resident Evil" movie, which she starred in and he directed. "I think that the franchise has definitely made me who I am today," she said in an interview with PEOPLE in 2016. "And I have two kids and an amazing husband because of it. I think that I've definitely become a stronger person through it."
Coming from a family of actors and filmmakers, Ever is interested in following in their footsteps, with her working as a model and actress. Even before working on sets, she'd accompany her parents as they made the "Resident Evil" films, of which there are seven films that have come out since 2002.
"I wouldn't let [Ever] come to set when the zombies were around 'cause I didn't want her to have nightmares," said Anderson to PEOPLE in 2010. "But she's certainly enjoyed coming around all the sets, and she's very much growing up as a kind of movie child."
Ever had her acting debut in 2016, in "Resident Evil: The Final Chapter," where she played a young version of the character her mother has played for decades. She's starred in other major productions, including "Black Widow" and, most recently, "Peter Pan & Wendy," where she played Wendy Darling.
