Gisele Bündchen has said "I do" to Joaquim Valente. According to Page Six, the couple had an intimate wedding after she welcomed their first child together in February 2025.
The couple tied the knot at their home in Surfside, Florida, surrounded by a small group of friends and family. TMZ confirmed the news by obtaining their marriage license, which was issued on December 1, and they got married on December 3.
Bündchen has kept her relationship very private, and they haven't released the name or gender of their new baby. So it's no surprise they kept this milestone a secret.
The source told Page Six the 38-year-old Brazilian jiu-jitsu instructor is "thrilled they finally tied the knot after having a kid together."
The news comes after the 45-year-old's appearance in Brazil this week at a Vivara jewelry event, where her left ring finger was carefully obscured in photos.
It's been a whirlwind year for the newlywed couple. After welcoming their first child in February, they began expanding their home. It was reported in November that the model quietly dropped $14.5 million on a fourth home right next door.
Gisele bought the original lot with intentions to rebuild on it in 2022, right after her split from Brady, and she’s been renovating the existing Surfside house she shares with Valente. So with her latest purchase, it seems like she's building a full-on family compound.
A headline-making love story
The couple found love following her divorce from Tom Brady. The former couple filed for divorce in October 2022 after 13 years of marriage.
The former NFL star shares two children with Bündchen: son Benjamin, 15, and daughter Vivian, 12, as well as a 17-year-old son, Jack, with ex Bridget Moynahan.
Following news of her pregnancy, sources told Page Six he was "stunned" but "happy" for his ex-wife. It's unclear if Bündchen told Brady about the marriage.
The timeline of Bündchen's relationship has stirred up controversy in the past. Multiple sources told TMZ that Brady believed they started dating before the reported June 2023. "They should add 2021 after June. Then the headline would be accurate," an insider told the outlet.
While Bündchen has kept her relationship private, she has shared some insight into life as a new mom. In June, she told Vogue France, “With a baby, the nights are so short that I’ve barely brushed my hair in the last few months!”
But with the newborn a few months old, she said she felt grounded, present, and finally getting some sleep. “Now that my little one is sleeping through the night, I’m back in control,” she told the magazine. “As any new mom knows, it’s incredible how much sleep—or lack of it—can change everything!”
Now that the couple is married, their family is starting a new, exciting chapter.
