Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan's divorce finances revealed amid 'Magic Mike' dispute


The former couple were engaged in a years-long divorce proceedings

Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan's divorce settlement details have been revealed. The couple, who married in 2009 and divorced in 2018, were entangled in divorce proceedings that lasted years due to complications with their finances, with Dewan arguing that she was owed some of the profits of Tatum's successful franchise "Magic Mike."

According to financial details that were recently shared with the public, both actors agreed to receive 50 percent of each other's retirement benefits during the years 2009 and 2018. They also agreed to waive spousal support and, should they need to work out their daughter's custody, to do so privately with a judge. 

Throughout their marriage, the couple produced the "Step Up" series, which aired on Starz in 2018 and ran for three seasons. In the case of Tatum, he starred in the global hit "Magic Mike" and produced and starred in "Magic Mike XXL." He also produced a Las Vegas live show and an HBO reality TV show associated with the franchise.

The pair share one daughter, Everly

According to a recent interview, Tatum claims that he and Dewan are doing well now, with both having equal custody over their 12-year-old daughter, Everly. Still, he described the end of their relationship as “a painful break." 

"To have that fall apart, especially being so young. We tried to keep it together," he said in an interview with Variety.  "It’s in the past. But it’s really tough not to have your daughter half the time. I wish I could just have her all the time.”

Tatum and Dewan met on the set of the movie "Step Up" in 2006. The pair started dating and got married in 2009, splitting up in 2018 after Dewan filed for divorce. 

While the two appeared to have separated amicably, their divorce grew complicated, settling after a six-year process. Through the proceedings, Dewan's lawyers argued that she was owed profits from the 'Magic Mike' "franchise, which, along with the underlying intellectual property, was developed and co-financed by Channing during their marriage with community effort and marital funds," read the documents according to E! News. 

Since their split, Tatum was engaged to Zoe Kravitz for a year, with them breaking up in October of 2024. He's now dating the Australian model Inka Williams. 

In the case of Dewan, she's engaged to Steve Kazee, whom she started dating in 2018. They share two kids: Callum and Rhiannon
