Martha Stewart is everybody's favorite felon. She just dropped a new promo with Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre for their Still GIN brand, and she stole the show with commentators leaving fire emojis, reminding fans she's served more prison time than both the rappers, and commenting on how good she looks.
At 84, the entrepreneur has gone viral for her amazing thirst traps, starred on the cover of Sports Illustrated at 81, and is living the single life. A burning question has always been what kind of routine or work she's gotten done to look so amazing.
In a 2024 episode of the Martha Stewart Podcast, celebrity dermatologist Dr. Dan Belkin cleared up the biggest rumor once and for all: Stewart has never had facial surgery. “People always tell her, ‘Tell us who your plastic surgeon is,’” he said. “But there wasn’t one. It’s just minimally invasive things for a long time, in a really thoughtful way.”
The snatched jawline is real, the neck is real, and Stewart herself proudly agrees. “I have a nice neck for my age,” she said. “And a nice jawline. My jaw looks good.”
Stewart also admitted she has no desire to “look her age,” and she's found what works. Botox didn’t work for her, but Belkin shared that she uses neurotoxin injectables that soften lines without freezing her face.
Martha's best aging tips
If you want to take notes from the queen herself, Stewart has an article on her website where she breaks down everything she swears by (and actually practices):
1. Daily sunscreen, no exceptions
SPF is her non-negotiable. Dermatologists back her up - UV damage is the fastest way to age skin, and Stewart's glowing complexion is proof of what happens when you wear SPF every day.
2. Keep good friends close - even the unexpected ones
Snoop Dogg isn’t just fun for the memes. Stewart says nurturing friendships keeps her energized and mentally young. Psychologists agree: novelty, connection, and fun people literally energize you.
3. Learn something new every day
"As one gets older, and we were getting older the minute we’re born, right away I think it’s terribly, terribly important that we learn something new every day," she told. New hobbies = new brain cells = staying mentally sharp.
4. Stay adventurous
Travel is a huge part of how she keeps her life full - from France to Australia to Botswana. She loves exploring the world with her grandkids, chasing surprises and “oohs and ahhs” together.
5. Create something - anything
Cooking, crafting, and gardening - creativity keeps her spirit alive. "Because if you can’t create, you just sort of stagnate. So again, there are those words that are very important to me: curiosity, creativity, inspiration, information - all of those things are extremely important. And that’s what I live by," she said.
6. Start the morning with green juice
Stewart has her recipe down to a science: pear, cucumber, celery, parsley, and ginger. It’s her first-thing ritual and gives her a nutritional boost before the day even starts.
7. Challenge your brain daily.
Crossword puzzles are her go-to. Experts say they enhance neuroplasticity and help build new neural pathways - basically, strength training, but for your brain.
