The days when Johnny Depp paused his career due to his legal battles with Amber Heard are now behind him. He is once again fully focused on his projects. Recently, the actor traveled to Argentina to present his latest film as a director and was pleasantly surprised by the warm reception from the public. Deeply moved, he expressed his sincere gratitude for the outpouring of affection.

On November 11, shortly before the Buenos Aires premiere of "Modì: Three Days on the Wing of Madness," Depp gave an interview to host Verónica Lozano for her show "Cortá por Lozano" (Telefe). During the conversation, he discussed the project, which is based on the life of Italian artist Amedeo Modigliani, and shared his feelings about the warmth of the Argentine audience.

“It’s truly impressive. I don’t know if anyone can get used to a welcome like this. One feels blessed to have such support, to see these expressions of respect, love, and admiration. People have kept me alive,” Johnny said. “I look forward to coming back to Buenos Aires with joy and excitement, to experience this place and to be able to watch the film here. It’s a community filled with culture, art, and architecture,” added the actor, who had a masterclass scheduled in La Plata alongside Ricardo Scamarcio, the star of his movie, on November 12.

As he left the television studio, Depp was greeted by a massive crowd of fans who gathered around him to say hello and ask for autographs. In a clear display of humility, he gladly obliged, delighting his excited followers, who could hardly believe they were face-to-face with one of Hollywood’s biggest stars.

Later, the 62-year-old actor headed to the movie theater in the Argentine capital, where the premiere of his film in Spanish took place. There, another enthusiastic crowd awaited him with photos and signs featuring the American actor. Depp walked the red carpet looking relaxed and posed with his castmates.

Johnny Depp Talks About His Altruistic Side

It’s no secret that, aside from being a talented actor, Johnny Depp has a big heart. This is evident through his frequent visits to children in hospitals around the world, where he often shows up dressed as the beloved Captain Jack Sparrow from the "Pirates of the Caribbean" film series. In his interview with Verónica Lozano, the actor spoke about these generous gestures.

“It’s a gift for me. I want to see the kids and understand them. I went through things with my own children; I know what it feels like. If there’s a chance for me to go dressed as Jack to a children’s hospital, to try to distract them and lift them out of where they are, to do silly things—that helps a lot. I love seeing those kids; the gift is being able to do it,” he shared.
