Kim Kardashian is opening up about one of the scariest experiences of her life. The TV personality received a frightening health diagnosis, which she discussed in the most recent episode of "The Kardashians." She linked the condition to one of the most stressful relationships in her life — that of Kanye West.
The moment was teased during the show's series premiere, showing Kardashian getting an MRI and revealing that she has a small aneurysm.
In the preview, Kardashian is seen sharing the news with her family. “There was a little aneurysm," she said. When her family asked for the reason behind the condition, Kardashian explained that her doctor said it was likely due to stress.
The clip then cuts to Kardashian tearfully discussing her divorce from Kanye West, a relationship that has grown more and more complicated with the passing of the years. “I’m happy it’s over,” she said. “My ex will be in my life no matter what. We have four kids together.”
Kardashian has been opening up about her relationship with West
In recent months, Kardashian has begun opening up about the toll of her relationship with West, sharing more details on her series and in appearances on podcasts.
In the season 7 premiere, Kardashian revealed that her psoriasis condition had a flare-up due to stress. “I haven’t had psoriasis since I got divorced, and it just started coming back,” she said. "I felt more stressed, probably just because I had to super, super protect what I had to protect.”
Kardashian has made it clear that, as her kids grow up, they begin to learn more about their father's behavior, something that she wants to shield them from. "They’re gonna know things,” she said. “They’re gonna grow up, they’re gonna see. So my job as a mom is to just make sure that — at a time when that behavior is happening — is just to make sure that they’re protected.”
It appears that her relationship with West, which has had its ups and downs through the years, isn't in the best place at the moment. "I always felt really bad and always protected and always wanted to help [him]," she said. She said that this time it was different, with her not feeling "that responsibility personally."
