Lana Del Rey is celebrating one year as a married woman.
On Friday, September 26, the songstress took to Instagram to post a carousel of photos from one year ago, marking the first anniversary of her wedding to husband Jeremy Dufrene.
Del Rey, 40, marked her wedding anniversary with her husband, who works as a swamp boat tour guide in Louisiana, through a series of sweet photos. This is the first time the singer has offered such an intimate look at their wedding day, posting the pictures with no caption attached to them.
The first photo shows Del Rey and Dufrene kissing on an airboat in their wedding attire. In the next one, their wedding guests--including music producer Jack Antonoff and actress Margaret Qualley--could be seen cheering for the newlyweds. The "Summertime Sadness" singer also showed off their wedding cake, which was painted with a gold-framed cabin, along with a photo of the couple feeding each other pieces.
The carousel post also featured some other fun details from the big day, including photos of a perfume bottle etched with "Love on the Bayou" and their wedding date "9.26.24," and an assortment of antique silver serving pieces.
Lana, whose real name is Elizabeth Woolridge Grant, and Dufrene tied the knot in Des Allemandes, La. At the time, a source told PEOPLE that "the wedding ceremony and reception were both held in the same bayou where Jeremy operates his swamp boat tours."
“This is where they first met," the source added. "It's a special place for them. It was a beautiful, relaxed and family focused wedding. The focus was just on their love story."
A source later told the outlet the couple's relationship was something of a "whirlwind romance," with Del Rey's close friends apparently rooting for the relationship to turn serious.
"Jeremy is different from the men that Lana meets in the entertainment world," they said. "He's a great guy. He's charming and charismatic in a Southern way, very much a gentleman, and he treats Lana really well. She's an old soul."
The pair's history first began years ago in 2019, when Del Rey shared a photo of Dufrene on Facebook. Their romance didn't become apparent until many years later, though, in August 2024, when a Reddit user snapped a photo of them sharing lunch in London.
