Nicole Kidman is returning to one of her most famous looks. The Australian actress has been enjoying her summer with her family, recently sharing photos of herself sporting curly hair. In one of the images, she holds on to one of her daughters, who sports a similar hairstyle.
Kidman shared plenty of family photos in an Instagram post, showing her enjoying the sun, the hot weather, and the presence of her family.
In all photos, Kidman is seen embracing her naturally curly hair, with her daughters, Faith and Sunday Rose, showcasing a similar texture.
More photos showed Kidman alongside her sister, Antonia, and the rest of her family members, with everyone looking thrilled to be away together on a family trip.
Kidman also shared a video of herself swimming with her family in the ocean, with her wearing a wetsuit, with a yacht parked off to the side of the video's frame. "Summer memories," she captioned the post. "Now back to school." She added a heart and a sparkling emoji.
Kidman used to sport curly hair at the start of her career, during the '90s, in a look that became emblematic of her onscreen persona in films like "Days of Thunder," which launched her career to fame and was the place where she met her first husband, Tom Cruise.
In an interview with Allure, Kidman has opened up about her regret over straightening her hair. “I loved my hair there," she said, after viewing a photo of herself on the set of "Days of Thunder."
"That is my natural hair. Isn’t that crazy?,” she said. “So for all the little girls out there, embrace the curl. Do not follow in my steps and straighten your hair.”

In other interviews, Kidman has opened up about her daughter Faith and the fact that she shares her same curls. In an interview with InStyle, she revealed that her daughter played a pivotal part in her reclaiming her curls.
“It’s taken me 40-something years, but I embrace the curl. My littlest daughter has the same hair. She likes it when my hair is curly, so I wear it for her,” she said.
