Raven-Symoné just dropped a truth bomb, and fans are here for the honesty. On the August 6 episode of Jeff Lewis Live on SiriusXM, the 39-year-old actress, singer, and cultural icon peeled back the curtain on a past relationship that ended in heartbreak but also surprising forgiveness.
"We were together for a really long time, and he got another girl pregnant," she revealed casually, though the moment's weight landed loud and clear. Then came the real kicker: "The best part was he asked me to be the kid's godmother."

Her ex not only allegedly cheated on her, but he also dared to ask Raven to step in as a fairy godmother to his new child. While Raven didn't name him or confirm whether she accepted the offer, she made it clear that there is no bad blood between them.
"We're still in communication now," she said, adding, "He's been through a lot, so there's nothing but love and respect for all that he's gone through, and his family. He still talks about it all the time, [that] dumbass."
From Heartbreak to Healing
The "That's So Raven" star came out publicly in 2013 and has since built a healthy, loving marriage with Miranda Pearman-Maday, 38, whom she wed in 2020. But before finding her forever person, Raven admits that her relationships with men were complicated.
"I came into the relationship [with Miranda] very secure. I also don't really get very jealous of my partners," she shared in a recent episode of her podcast "Tea Time," which she co-hosts with Pearman-Maday. "When I was dating men, I'd be like, 'You get three cheats, and then after the third one, we're done.'"
Raven and Miranda's communication is the cornerstone of their relationship. "I told her early, 'I don't get jealous if you think somebody's handsome or pretty. It doesn't bother me," Raven explained. "When things start to bother me, I feel your emotional heart start moving away."
They've admitted that podcasting together sometimes doubles as therapy. "It's forcing us to have, like, sit-down communication," Miranda told Us Weekly in 2023. "But we also have real couple's therapy."
