Did Britney Spears become a mother again? The popstar shared a video on her Instagram, showing her dancing. In the caption, she revealed she had adopted a baby girl named Lennon London Spears, shocking many of her followers.
According to E! News!, Spears did not become a new mother and captioned the post as a joke.
The caption is filled with different winking face emojis and other notorious comments, such as stating that Spears was moving to Italy.
The video shows Spears in a red and white one-piece bathing suit, which she accessorized with a black hat and matching boots.
She wrote: "I haven’t worked out in years so I put this little pink one piece on and PLAYED !!! How are you beautiful people this morning ??? I need coffee and I want to let you guys know I adopted a beautiful baby girl!!! Her name is Lennon London Spears!!!"
She wrote more references to Lennon in the caption, sharing that the girl "has on adorable dress!!! It says I’m NEW HERE !!! SO PLEASE STOP TALKING TRASH AMERICA!!! I’ve decided to move to Italy."
Spears' parenting journey
While the post shocked many of her followers, it's not the first instance when Spears has discussed adoption. In a post shared on January of this year, Spears wrote in a since-deleted Instagram post that she wanted to adopt a child.
Spears shared two kids with her ex, Kevin Federline: Sean and Jayden. The kids were estranged from their mother in recent years, moving to Hawaii to live with their father and his new wife.
It appears that her relationship with Jayden, her youngest, is on the mend after he moved back to California. Sources claim Jayden reached out to Spears at some point last year to reconnect.
“Jayden is spending time back in California but does not live with Britney,” said a source to Us Weekly in November of last year. “All of his friends are still in California and he wanted to come back after graduating high school. Jayden reached out to Britney and initiated conversation.”
