Eva Longoria is not just a global star but also a seriously proud mama. The actress and producer, best known recently for her role in "Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Road Trip," gave fans a rare peek into her family life this week as she celebrated her son Santiago "Santi" Enrique Bastón's 7th birthday in the sweetest way.

"Happy 7th birthday to my Santi💕 I love you so so much!" the 50-year-old star captioned a heartfelt Instagram post on Thursday, June 19. Longoria shared a carousel of personal photos featuring her little one to mark the occasion.

The first snapshot captures an intimate morning moment: Eva, rocking cozy pajamas with her hair clipped up, snuggles Santi on her lap while giving him a big hug and a loving kiss on the cheek. Beaming at the camera, Santi proudly holds a giant silver number seven balloon nearly as tall as he is.

Other photos in the series included an adorable beachside selfie of the duo, both flashing big smiles in the sun, and a sweet candid shot of Santi sitting on Eva's lap with his back to the camera, arms wrapped tightly around his mom.

It's not often fans get such a personal glimpse into Eva's family life—especially when it comes to her son. Longoria and her husband, José Antonio "Pepe" Bastón, tied the knot in 2016 and welcomed their little boy in June 2018 after announcing the pregnancy in late 2017.

Since the moment he arrived, Longoria has embraced motherhood with open arms. "From the moment he was placed in my arms, I knew no love like this before," she wrote in a touching Instagram post four months after Santi's birth, calling him a "little bundle of love" and a "miracle."

Longoria's always been hands-on when it comes to parenting. Back when Santi was just a newborn, the actress, businesswoman, and philanthropist opened the doors of her spectacular L.A. home to HOLA! USA in a world exclusive. "It's magical. I feel like I've known him my whole life," the star says of her son in the spread.

Now that he's grown into a curious and charming 7-year-old, Santi is starting to understand his mom's Hollywood world, though sometimes it can still leave him scratching his head.

During a March 2025 appearance on Good Morning America, Longoria revealed that Santi had watched her in "Dora and the Lost City of Gold" and was adorably puzzled. "He saw Dora the Explorer and he was very confused that I was Dora's mom," she laughed. "And, he was like, 'Wait, you're her mom?' And I go, 'Well...' and he's like, 'Where is she? Why doesn't she live with us?'"

Beyond movie sets and red carpets, Longoria is raising Santi with an appreciation for the world beyond Hollywood. The family frequently splits time between Spain and Mexico, and Eva makes sure every trip is a learning adventure.

"I just love being in Spain; I adore the country. I first fell for Marbella 20 years ago. It was love at first sight. I started thinking about buying a place here five years ago and have been on the hunt ever since," the star told ¡HOLA! Spain in an exclusive interview.

Eva is a huge fan of the country and found her dream house in Marbella earlier this year. "It's my oasis, my paradise," said the actress. She added, "When I'm in L.A., I'm always working and super busy." When she comes to Spain, she associates it with vacation, enjoying a more laid-back lifestyle. "I hit the beach with my son... It's a slower pace, yet very fulfilling."
