The drama between the Beckham family has reached new permanent heights. It looks like Brooklyn Beckham has been adding to his tattoos lately, and they seem to be overshadowing the ones he dedicated to his mom, Victoria. The timing is suspicious, considering there has been drama brewing between him and his family.
Brooklyn posed shirtless for Glamour in an April interview published Monday, and the “mama’s boy” tattoo is now surrounded by flowers. As noted by Page Six, they may be modeled after his wife Nicola Peltz's bouquet from her wedding.
Then there's the "Mum" tattoo he had on his shoulder that he debuted in 2018. Victoria shared a proud picture posing with the heart and flower combo at the time. But now it looks like a snake is going through it.
It comes amid a growing family feud that has been making headlines with roots back to Brooklyn and Peltz’s wedding on April 9, 2022. There were reports at the time that Peltz and Victoria were feuding over many things, including her not wearing one of her designs, but the family pushed through, and the rumors were put to rest as they continued to pose happily with each other and attend events.
Fast forward to 2025, and Brooklyn and Peltz are nowhere to be seen at David's star-studded 50th birthday party. A source told Us Weekly at the time that the couple asked for “special treatment” and wanted a separate meet-up with David instead of attending the main event.
The family reportedly shut that down. “David and Victoria are over it,” the insider said. “They’ve thrown in the towel over the whole thing.”
Then, bombshell reports hit the internet in May, going back to the wedding. Allegedly, right when Brooklyn and Nicola were about to have their first dance, Victoria was unexpectedly called on stage by Marc Anthony, who was performing as a gift, and instead of Brooklyn and Nicola dancing, Victoria ended up slow-dancing with her son. Nicola was reportedly totally blindsided and ran out crying, thinking Victoria did it on purpose.
There have also been reports of some bad blood between Romeo and Brooklyn, who are reportedly not on speaking terms over his girlfriend, Kim Turnbull. Romeo, 22, and Kim were both at the party, along with Victoria, Cruz, 20, and Harper, 13.
However, there are also rumors it's Nicola, with a source telling The Daily Mail, "This has nothing to do with Kim and is all about Nicola. All David and Victoria want is their son back – and they will be there to welcome him any time."
So it's safe to say there is definitely something weird going on with what was once seen as one of the strongest celebrity families. And with Brooklyn posting cryptic messages like “I’ll always choose you, baby,” it seems he's chosen his side.
