The couple knows how important it is to spend quality time together before someone leaves on a trip, and Johnson is currently in France for the Cannes film festival. Before she flew overseas they were spotted recharging in Malibu on May 16, hitting up a yoga class.
For the stretch-filled date, the Madame Web star wore her hair in two braids with a sports bra that showed off her toned abs, leggings, a blue sweatshirt, sandals, and oversized black sunglasses.
Chris kept it simple in a black cap, grey tee, and navy shorts, and was spotted grounding without any shoes.
It’s a quiet but telling moment for the longtime couple, who sparked breakup rumors in 2024.

After their date, Jonson hopped on a plane to serve on the red carpet solo. She attended the premiere of Spike Lee’s Highest 2 Lowest on May 19
The 35-year-old was also there to promote Splitsville, one of her new films at the festival. The other, Materialists, starring Pedro Pascal, officially opens June 1 and has a lot of buzz.

While Johnson and Martin have been together since 2017, they keep things low-key and private and have never done a red carpet together. The Mirror even reported in March 2024 that the couple had been engaged for years, which they have never confirmed.
A few months later, in August, they sparked breakup rumors, but a rep confirmed to E! News they were “not true,” and “they are happily together."
In a December interview with Rolling Stone, he opted not to talk about the engagement rumors or relationship, telling the outlet, “It is important to say that [romantic love] is such a big factor in everything, even though it feels right to keep it precious and private; I’m not denying its power.”
