Dylan Efron wants his fans and followers to know that he does in fact take showers. The athlete recently made headlines, not just for his win on the popular show 'The Traitors,' but also for his latest interview, where he revealed that he doesn't shower regularly.
The reality star and brother of Zac Efron is known for his healthy and active lifestyle, traveling around the world and going on multiple adventures, as he shared with his fans on social media.
Dylan made a special appearance on 'Are You Okay?' where he talked about his experience filming the latest season of the show and shared a glimpse at his personal life.
"We take way too many showers. I go in the pool a lot. Like, there’s chlorine — it’s killing everything," he said on the episode, adding that he is not the biggest fan of soap. "We don’t need to soap our bodies every time we’re in the shower, either. That’s way too much!" Dylan added.
The statement caused multiple comments on social media, with many sharing their reactions. "I want to go back to a time I didn’t hear this take on too many showers," one person wrote, while someone else commented, "He doesn't shower, he's NOT okay."
Following the comments online, Dylan took to social media to share a video of himself wearing a colorful Speedo. The reality star showed off his toned abs and proved to his fans on Instagram that he showers.
Dylan is not the first celebrity that shares his bathing habits, with others previously sharing their reasons to avoid showering regularly, including Selena Gomez's romantic partner, Benny Blanco, actress Mila Kunis, as well as actor Dax Shepard.
The actor shared on his podcast that people "should not be getting rid of the natural oil on your skin with a bar of soap every day." Meanwhile, Benny stated that he doesn't shower every day, but when he does, he takes his time.
